OUR HISTORY

Jason and Jennifer Gardner opened Jumping Jelly Beans Pediatric Therapy in July 2014 with the mission to offer therapy services to children in an environment best suited to the needs of children and families whether in the home, at daycare, in school, or a clinic setting.

Jason (PT) and Jennifer (OT) not only run the day to day operations of JJB, but also continue to maintain and manage a therapy caseload as well as provide supervision to Jumping Jelly Beans’ Physical Therapy Assistants and Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Meet Our Staff

Jennifer Gardner

+ Occupational Therapist

  • A native of Mississippi, Jennifer graduated from the University Medical Center of Mississippi in 2009 with her Masters in Occupational Therapy.

  • Jennifer has worked with children from Birth to 18-years-old and loves the energy kids’ offer and inserting her creativity into each therapy session.

  • Jennifer is married with 2 children and resides in Jonesboro.

Jennifer loves painting, gardening, wood working, and travelling. Jennifer is passionate about her family and loves spending time with them.

Jason Gardner

+ Physical Therapist

  • Jason graduated from Arkansas State University in 2004, as Magna Cum Laude, with a Physical Education degree with an emphasis in Exercise Science.

  • In 2007, Jason graduated with his Master’s in Physical Therapy.

  • He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association with an emphasis in Pediatrics.Jason currently serves as a board member for the Autism Association of Northeast Arkansas.

When Jason is not working his hobbies include hunting, fishing, sports, especially following the Arkansas Razorbacks, and spending time with friends and family.

Suzanne Roach

+ Speech Language Pathologist

  • Suzanne attended Arkansas State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders in 2000 and a Masters of Communication Disorders in 2001.

  • Suzanne has worked with children in a variety of settings which include inpatient, outpatient, and school based facilities.

  • Suzanne loves seeing the progress her clients make in therapy and loves all the funny things kids say.

Suzanne and her husband, Craig have one son and live in Jonesboro. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her son play sports, spending time with friends, exercising, and going to the movies.

Lauren Rowe

+ Physical Therapist

  • Arkansas State University – Bachelors in Exercise Science (2013), Doctor of Physical Therapy (2016)

  • Married to husband, Matthew Rowe, together have a son, Noah, and a cocker spaniel named CoCo.

  • Hobbies include going to the park, spending time with family/friends, fishing, being outdoors.

I chose to work in pediatrics, because I wanted to help kids be the best version of themselves and improve physical impairments while providing fun exercises in a playful environment. Helping the kids stay on track with their developmental milestones and showing them lots of love along the way

Jennifer Drake

+ Speech Language Pathologist

  • Arkansas State University–Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorders 1999, Master of Communication Disorders 2002

  • Husband, Jason Drake, son, Braxton.

  • Hobbies include traveling and shopping

I love children and love seeing their progress. I also love being one on one with them and letting them know that someone cares about them and is on their side. I also love seeing their joy when they make progress.

Callie Wright

+ Physical Therapist

  • Graduated from Arkansas State University with a B.S. in Biology in 2010 and in May of 2014 with Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

  • Hobbies include traveling, reading, cheering on the A-State Red Wolves and spending time with friends and family.

I chose to work in pediatrics because of the opportunity to see continuous progress from week to week and celebrate every milestone with our children and their families. It is very rewarding to be able to get to know these kiddos and their families and serve as a bridge between a sometimes-scary diagnosis and the potential possible in each child.

Hannah Warren

+ Speech Language Pathologist

  • Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders in 2007 and a Masters of Communication Disorders in 2008.

  • Special training with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), The Talk Tools approach to oral motor, Language Accusation Through Motor Planning(LAMP)  and the Kaufman Approach for Apraxia and Articulation.

  • Hannah is married and has three children.

  • She enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. In her spare time she also works with the Jonesboro Circle of Friends chapter, an organization that raises money for Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Alicia Hadley

+ Physical Therapist

  • Graduated from Belmont University in Nashville Tennessee with a doctorate degree in physical therapy – specializes in kinesiotaping and leukotaping to improve muscle activation as well as structural control.

  • Lives in Jonesboro with her husband Eric and their four daughters.

  • Alicia and Eric are both healthcare professionals and love to serve their community.

Alicia states she has always had a love for children. She truly believes that pediatrics is the most rewarding age group to treat in physical therapy. There are no true words to describe the amazing emotions felt when you help a child walk for the first time or you help a child become independent and keep up with their peers.

Courtney Dauck

+ Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Graduated December 2016 from the Missouri Health Professions Consortium – Three Rivers Campus, Poplar Bluff, MO with an Associates of Science Degree – Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • I love working at JJB, because I have the freedom to set my own schedule, work with an amazing group of girls, and have great bosses who treat me as an equal and are great to their employees.

  • Husband, AJ Dauck, who just graduated with a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and a chocolate lab, Gage, who is our fur baby.

I chose to work in pediatrics, because of all my fieldwork placements this is the area I felt I excelled in most. I believe I can make the biggest impact in the field of OT by working with kids. I had known I wanted to work with kids prior to learning about OT. Now I am able to combine that with a job I love as well.

Jordan Lawrence

+ Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Graduated from Arkansas State University with an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy.

  • Enjoys being a mother, spending time with family, and being a part of my church family.

My love for children combined with my passion for helping others makes Pediatrics a perfect fit, helping a child reach their fullest potential is such a rewarding career.Being a part of JJB is such a blessing, everyone works together as a team to do whatever is necessary to benefit our kiddos.

Jeremy Hart

+ Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Concorde Career College, Memphis, TN- Associates of Applied Science Occupational Therapy

  • Going into OT school l always knew that l had a strong desire to help kids.  Everyday presents a brand new challenge, but kids always provide a little bit of joy and laughter. Being able to them is just something l strongly enjoy.

  • My family is all very close, and have helped me beyond measure.

  • Hobbies: Golf, Arkansas Razorbacks, and St. Louis Cardinals.

Meshell Gipson

+ Physical Therapy Assistant

  • Associates Degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Arkansas State University.

  • Meshell has received training in the Ready Body Learning Minds Training and implements it into her therapy sessions.

  • Meshell is married to Terry Gipson. She has 3 amazing children (Grant, Maycie and Miley), one wonderful daughter-in-law (Toshia) and a sweet grandson (Gavin). Meshell enjoys attending her family’s sporting events, spending time with family and friends and gardening.

Mary Alldread

+ Occupational Therapist

  • Graduated from The University of Mississippi Medical Center in May 2012 with a Masters Degree.

  • She has been practicing within the pediatric setting for 5 years and has seen a variety of diagnoses such as Fine Motor Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Failure To Thrive, Angelman Syndrome, Microcephaly, Down Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Developmental Coordination Disorder.

  • Mary has been working part-time with Jumping JellyBeans Pediatric Therapy for one-and-a-half years. Her primary interests within the field of occupational therapy include sensory integration therapy and improving the handwriting skills of her patients in order for them to achieve their academic goals.

  • On a personal level, Mary enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Kile; playing with her dog, Rascal; baking for the JJB team; and supporting the Mississippi State Bulldogs (Mr. Jason just loves that!)

Lindy Gage

+ Speech Language Pathologist

  • Undergraduate: B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Arkansas State University. Graduated in spring 2013
    Graduate: M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from Harding University. Graduated in spring 2015.

  • Began working in fall of 2015 at Shelby County Public Schools in Memphis, TN. Worked with k-12. Originally from Jonesboro, AR. Moved back home in January 2016 and began working for JJB! Best decision ever!

  • Interests in my field: feeding/swallowing and early intervention. I’m still learning and growing interests in my field!

  • Hobbies: spending time with family and friends, swimming, traveling, and church activities.

Laura Keller

+ Speech Language Pathologist

  • Harding University-2007 Bachelor of Arts in General Studies
    Arkansas State University-2008 Masters in Communication Disorders

  • Austism: SCERTS: Multidisciplinary framework that directly addresses the core challenges faced by children and persons with ASD and their families. LAMP: Therapeutic approach based on neurological and motor learning principles.

  • Feeding: SOS [Sequential Oral Sensory Approach]: A transdisciplinary program for assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties.

  • Husband-Rusty, Daughter-Lainey, Son-Rhett, 2 Australian Shepherds, 3 Cats, 1 Miniature Donkey, 1 Miniature Horse and a cattle farm. I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to be outdoors (floating the buffalo, camping, working on the farm) and visiting state/national parks.

Lindsey Killough

+ Physical Therapy Assistant

  • Harding University Bachelors in General Studies Arkansas State University Associate of Applied Sciences Physical Therapist Assistant

  • I fell in love with pediatrics during my time in school and felt called to spend my career helping people during some of the most important and influential years of their lives.

  • I love animals, movies, food, and Jesus and do my best to fill every moment of my time outside of work with these things.

Christina Moss

+ Physical Therapist

  • Christina is a Jonesboro area native and currently resides in Brookland, Arkansas with her husband and their 3 children.

  • She graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in biology and social work in 2007 and again in 2010 with a Master of Physical therapy degree from Arkansas State University.

  • She currently works part time as a pediatric physical therapist and is also the director of Ag for Autism and a real estate agent here in Jonesboro.

When asked what she enjoyed the most as a pediatric physical therapist, her answer was simply the kids. There is a great sense of fulfillment when working with children and seeing their progression. The look on their faces when they finally master a skill that they have been working on for a while is priceless!

Christi McMasters

+ Occupational Therapist

  • Christi McMasters COTA/L graduated Concorde Career College in 2017.

  • She and husband Bryan have two girls, Maddy and Kennedy.

  • In her spare time Christi enjoys exercising, cooking, and family time.

Her favorite thing occupational therapy is watching her clients grow and achieve their goals.

Maegan Boyd

+ Speech Therapist

  • Maegan Boyd is a speech therapist from Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She attended Arkansas State University beginning in 2007 to obtain a Bachelor of Science and graduated with a Masters in Communication Disorders in December of 2012.

  • Maegan has specialized with the pediatric population for almost six years. She is certified for tactile sensory integration per Svetlana Masgutova, Beckman Oral Motor, and have attended various continuing education courses focusing on feeding development and disorders.

My job is special to me because it provides a way to change children’s lives through teaching and interaction. It is my honor to provide support and knowledge to families to positively impact their child’s development.

Christin Brown

Shelby Lovins

+ Speech Language Pathologist

  • Shelby is a 2010 graduate of Arkansas State University where she received a Masters in Communication Disorders.

  • She has worked exclusively in pediatrics in both the early intervention and school-aged populations.

  • She lives in Jonesboro with my husband Brian, and our daughters Addyson and Aubree. Her family considers themselves a football family and love cheering on the GCT Eagles, Nettleton Raiders, ASU Redwolves, and Arkansas Razorbacks!

I have always had a passion for working with children and I am so blessed to be able to do the job I love everyday.

Allison Gates

+ Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Graduated from Arkansas State University in 1999 with a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

  • She has been in pediatrics profession for 17 years.

  • Sh has been married 17 years and has one son.
