Pediatric speech therapists specialize in the evaluation and treatment of children who exhibit delays that cause children to have difficulty understanding or expressing language.  Speech therapist  also treat oral motor concerns, such as chewing and swallowing, as well as the ability to produce intelligible speech or the production of sounds.
